Safeguarding Expertise

At Possabilitys Plus, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. Within the NDIS framework, safeguarding means protecting the rights, safety, and wellbeing of participants - especially those who may be vulnerable.

Led by Orla’s expertise in safeguarding and abuse prevention, our team is skilled in identifying risks, applying the NDIS Code of Conduct, and implementing proactive strategies that ensure safe, respectful, and supportive environments.

Expertise in Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT)

If you’ve received a NDIA decision you don’t agree with, we can help you understand your options and support you through the review process.

We assist with reviewing internal decisions made under the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 (NDIS Act) and can guide you in lodging an appeal through the AAT.

Key Things To Know:
  • You have 28 days from receiving the NDIA decision to lodge an appeal with the AAT.
  • We can help if the NDIA has taken more than 90 days to respond to your internal review request.
  • We support reviews related to plan reassessments, variations, or other key NDIA decisions.
  • Bring your NDIA decision letter or email when contacting us so we can check eligibility.
